I'm waiting to see what they have done with unity. It may even mean that UNR makes it to my netbook!

Am I the only person who thinks that Ubuntu is doing a very bad job with Gnome by trying to make it look like OS X?

And seriously, what is with the window buttons being moved to the left side?
If i ever find myself on that distro, i'll download the KDE version instead.

Like anything, it depends on your hardware, specifically video card. ATI are having a hard time right now. I had issues with my nvidia but the current version 256.53 solved all my issues. They have updated xorg to 1.9. Suppose to make startup faster.
I was also having problems with Lucid until I upgrade nvidia to 256.53.
