There is a project trying to raise money to hire an orchestra to record classical music symphonies that will be put into public domain (or some creative commons license for countries that don't allow PD.)
I figured if anyone out there is a classical music fan, and an open source zealot ( I know I am ) then they'd like this kind of thing.

They have a lot of stuff already recorded that can be used freely. Might be useful for anyone making FOSS software that could benefit by music, but they can't find anything they can use, and don't have a lot of cash to blow on recording new stuff.New to the internet, technical forums, or the hacker / open source community??
