Doesn't look like 'crap' to me at all.

Everything works fine. Sure, it does gobble up more cpu cycles than the Windows version, but i'm contented with just having a fully functional Flash plugin.

Using 100% of a core in a dual core cpu with 4g memory and nvidia workstation graphics and still not playing smooth is running like crap to me

i'm using a dual core celeron with a Radeon 4350HD and 2GB of system ram and when viewing a Youtube HD vid with Flash cpu cycles only hit 40% on both cores, while system ram consumption capped out at only 1.0GB. And this is on an ancient Fedora 10 with a memory sucking IceCat.

either you're exxagerating or your distro is really screwed up.

64bit just appeared in Gentoo portage, top shows average 70% idle when watching 1080p Youtube video. 2.4 GHz quad-core, nVidia 8500GS.

40% on both cores is 80% overall cpu usage

I may be exaggerating some but the point is that its still not even close to being as good as it is on windows

Its really hard to compare results anyway, its apples and oranges

Bumping this up because it's awesome information. I actually learned something fun and mildly challenging today. Installing from a ppa.

I can play farmville on 64bit browser YAY!!
