Never left. Put Ubuntu 8.04 on my desktop in April 08 and 10.04 when it came out. I did have an old laptop that had w98 original on it, that I left that way until April when I discovered Distrowatch, and changed it to AntiX. Since then I have bought 2 used laptops with windows that I changed to linux, and a desktop I just bought I will put linux on. Unfortunatley my wife still clings to windows on her computer, and I have to use it at work.

    Been using linux ever since
RPM=Redhat Package Manager. Coopstah, you know this, man! It was all command line mojo, no GUI.

Smile Yes, but not my fault

Yes I did, I did not want to, but did, I had a 10 year old laptop running Fedora 12, and it died about 2 or 3 months back, so I had to switch to my families windoze 7 machine, and then when I gave my grandpa my dads old computer for his current one, the first thing I did was install Fedora 13, that got messed cause I stuck a old hard drive in and tried booting that, so I just installed Ubuntu 10.04, and upgraded to the 10.10 beta about 2 weeks back...

I found Linux and dual booted for a bit.
Once I realized that I hadn't started XP for the last 3 months...
I had no reason to look back.
I still run into issues with different distros (I'm a distro-slut... whaddya want?)
But i've never turned back, and there is only one reason that I ever would.

    Diablo III

    If Wine doesn't cut it...
I may have to fall back.

Started messing around with RedHat E. Linux 4 in college, some 5 years back. Was heavily in Win, so like said, ol' habits die hard.
Gaming was the main issue with Linux in my teens that time, now when I'm not that into gaming n' all, though there are 100s of great games available for linux, I love using linux for my day to day work.
