    Question Email Account

    Hi!
As a free software developer (to be honest, it's still just a hobby), I'd like to use an email account on a Free server. I've been using a Yahoo mail account, a Hotmail account and a Gmail account. But none of these uses Free software, right? Even Google keeps the Google Mail Server a mystery. What would you recommend?

All these are free in the sense that it costs nothing to use them. If you're wanting to use a mail server that uses only Open Source software, you might have to (ironically) pay for it.

If you have the right contract with your ISP, you might be able to set this up your own mail server. All you need is a static IP address and a domain that points its MX record at your server.
