Hi everyone,
A few words of thanks in advance as I know I will be needing help.
Fed up the expensive operating systems and software I have come to the conclusion that free is a better price to pay even if it does come with a learning curve.
I have tried some out of the box distros but feel as if I am being robbed of some knowledge so I am venturing into the big world of command line, vi and even compiling source code. I know this might all sound simple for some but for me it is like crossing an ocean and finding out not everyone speaks the same language.
If I could see into the future... it would be so clear that GNU/Linux is the only way to get better control of your own pc so it is the case of start getting use it.
