I think I have finally found the perfect Linux disro.
For several years, I have been trying various distros of Linux and have never been able to find one which I can stick with.
I've tried all the big, bloated distros, and some of the smaller no-name ones. I decided I needed to go back to the basics. I needed to go back to the original distro from which so many others are derrived.
I installed Debian 5 from the net. I used the 35mb netinstall ISO. I installed just what I wanted: Firefox, Thunderbird, and Banshee on top of gnome.
I have acheived nirvana.

Nice to see you have found the perfect distro for you. I personally like Linux mint for day to day use. For things which require flexibility though, I couldn't agree more with your choice on Debian.
