Check LinuxCommand.org for learning Linux commands:
LinuxCommand.org: Learn the Linux command line. Write shell scripts.
The same commands will apply to all the different distributions.
Moderator Edit: locking this, as it's basically a duplicate of another of the OP's threads asking if commands are the same for all distros.Last edited by oz; 10-28-2010 at 07:58 PM.

What Ozar said. There are many Linux commands. Some are shell commands, most are program names to invoke. There are books to learn what is common to most Linux distributions. Then, there are program packages you can install on your system. Most come with man pages (online documentation) that you can view with the commane man subject where subject is the name of the program or function you are interested in learning about.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
