    Can anyone explain me 3 Levels of Support as linux admin

    Hi,

    I like to know what level of support is included in Level1,Level2,Level3.List of features included in each ?

    Breif explaination will be helpful for all.

    Not a homework.Like to know in general.As i know 3 level of support as windows admin.As you are linux guru can you let me know what are the 3 level of steps and it's feature please

    Need to know about Levels of support given as a linux admin to his environment.Like log file auditing,log managment etc.

    I think that in order to be able to help you that you need to give examples of what you mean by support levels in windows. Otherwise we can only guess what you are looking for.

    To be quick and as a newbee, I would say :
    User administration
    Folder administration, quotas
    Network administration

    You might want to have look into the LPI certifications such as LPIC 101 and 102. They are quiet accurate about this.

    I like to install one .msi installer on my debian box.

    This is my current os

    Linux version 2.6.18-6-686 (Debian 2.6.18.dfsg.1-23etch1) (dannf@debian.org) (gcc version 4.1.2 20061115 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.1-21))

    I tired the below steps.But it is not working with debian

    msiexec /i installer.msi

    Can anyone helpme to install this ??

    That is a Windows installer. You need to install Wine, if you haven't already. You probably do since msiexec is on your system. However, many Windows programs won't work with Wine anyway. What program are you trying to install?
