I saw a real funny cartoon today from go comics about gorging on turkey but it's too political for LF. Here On Staten Island there is a herd of 100 or more wild turkeys
camping out near the hospital grounds. There are so many of them now that there is serious talk of getting rid of all of them!!

Well, my Oaxacan black bean soup has been simmering all day - it will be prime eating about mid-day today (Thursday). The main dish is Oaxacan black mole on enchiladas - called enmoladas in Mexico (enchiladas w/ mole). The stuffing is string cheese and nopales (cactus leaves). I know, not "traditional" T-day fare, but definitely tasty! Besides, my wife and I are vegetarians, so big birds aren't on our menu!
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

Have 8 carnivores (6 pets and 2 humans) in the house today. Too cold to leave dogs and cats outside. Animals are trembling with anticipation. Aromas are killing their senses.
