Linux Distribution Funtertainment
I am not a Linux noob, I am just wondering where I can get the most bang for my theoretical buck. I am using Arch at the moment, but I want a Linux distribution that I cant have a butt-load of "fun" with, configuring, installing desktops/window managers, and installing the right Wireless drivers

I pretty much know that I'm going to end up with:
Slax
Slackware
Arch
Gentoo
or some form of BSD.
Any and all responses will be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the forums!
I'm an Arch user as well, and have been for the last 6 years but have installed all the options you listed at one time or another. They are all nice distros, with Slax probably being the easiest of the bunch and Gentoo and BSD being the most difficult, at least in my own opinion. That said, none of them are all that difficult once you become familiar with them.
Good luck to you with whichever route you should pursue!oz

Oh alright. I'm just looking for a challenge. Maybe finding a Linux distribution isn't what I need. Programming possibly? Guess I have to start a new thread now... I hate that.
Thanks any ways though.

CRUX is a challenging distro that you didn't have in your options list. I'd recommend trying it if you haven't done so already. On the other hand, I hear that Linux From Scratch can be really challenging, although I've not done it myself.
Good luck with the programming should you go with that instead.oz
