A rather silly feud
Some kind of feud seems to be developing between OpenOffice.org and LibreOffice. Here's a quote from a post in the OOoauthors mail list.
To be fair, LO may be afraid of running foul of Oracle. But it still looks pretty childish to me.OOoDeV has now formally offered to host our website, but only if our domain & site names do not include OOo or OpenOffice. (OOoDeV hosts The Document Foundation/LibreOffice. I assume they are going to change their name, too.)
Related info: Some weeks ago, we invited the LibreOffice docs team to use our website. They have not accepted this offer (in part because of the site name), but the possibility exists for them or other related documentation groups to do so."I'm just a little old lady; don't try to dazzle me with jargon!"
