    Why Me Google?

    It sure did not take long for me to get annoyed at google for putting up an ad on their sign in email page. Now I have a piece of cardboard to hold in my left hand to block out everything but the sign in on the screen!! Thanks for nothing google!!

    I use claws-mail to access my gmail account, you should be able to do similar. Login via web interface and enable pop, then setup your email client see here. Day to day I don't see any of the ads and just login every couple of months and clear out read emails

    cousinlucky... I thought you were running Adblock Plus, and if so, you should be able to block pretty much anything that you don't want to see with just a few clicks.
