I will have to say the production values were superb. The scenes, CGI and cinematography were outstanding. I thought Taylor Lautner turned in a commendable performance. It's a chick flick though... really a soap opera with vampires. Mike, we have to do these things to stay out of the dog house. My wife will watch "The Rockford Files" with me so it's tit for tat.

LOL. I have seen them all already (Like a good husband) so why not this one too? I know we must do these things and I better hurry up and Git 'R Done, after all, I got her to watch "Pawn Stars" with me now. Hoo boy, my honey-do-list is getting BIG!

We bought this DVD for our son's 17th birthday and watched it last night.
The Hangover Part II (2011) - IMDb
It was funny, not as good as the original but it had it's moments. I think if you liked the first one, you'll also like the second. I don't want to give any details away so I better stop here.

Not a movie per se. But a good 11 minutes spent.

Animation: Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity Rover Animation - NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory

I'm a sucker for this kind of stuff.

    video trek

I forayed into Manhattan this morning and one of the places I went to sells DVD's. They have changed their store around to sell more Blue-Ray stuff but I went there with my list of movies with Emily Watson in them. In the bargain rack was " Untraceable " and I remembered someone ( I can not remember who ) said that she liked the movie so I picked it up. It was better than I thought it would be!!

Well, I just started watching (for the n'th time) "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy". Got to say, that it never gets too old! Just don't get roped into listening to Vogon poetry!

P.S. I wonder what current technology would do with Zaphod Beeblebox's dual heads...

    Cradle Will Rock

This Tim Robbins movie is set in 1930's America and is about artistic censorship! It is full of acting stars and a good movie for us older folks. No car chases or special effects; just good acting!!
