I wouldn't go so far as to buy it, but borrow it from a friend or something. It was okay, but over the top and it played well on peoples fear of the end of the world. Quite a few really sad moments, but over all a good movie.

I wouldn't suggest buying it, but rent or borrow only.

We just watched "Inception" and found it to be pretty entertaining after a very slow start.

    Good movie!

Watched Ip Man (also known as Yip Man) tonight:

    Ip Man ( 2008 ) - IMDb

It was an interesting story, and the fight scenes were very well done. If you like martial arts movies, you will probably like this one. The fight scenes are not so fake looking like so many were a few years back.

I was going to watch that yesterday but passed it up... I guess I'll go back for it Monday. Thanks!

    Inception

I'd have to agree with Dapper Dan that Inception was a pretty good flick, with some of the visual effects being quite amazing. It was a little difficult to follow in places and probably worth several viewings if you want to make sure that you didn't miss anything the first time around.

    psychological thriller

Watched a good psychological thriller tonight called The Machinist:

    The Machinist (2004) - IMDb

Christian Bale put on a spectacular performance in this one. He also lost 62 lbs to do this film, leaving him nothing more than skin and bones, at 120 lbs. Then he had to gain all that weight back (and then some) to film Batman Begins.

    Definitely worth watching!

Secretariat was a pretty good movie and worth at least a rental:

    Secretariat (2010) - IMDb

Before watching the movie, I was already familiar with the horse's name, but didn't realize just how fast he was on the track until after watching the movie and then verifying his efforts with a bit of online research.
