Me too Mike! When they started in with the song at the radio station, I turned to my wife in the theatre and whispered, "that song would go number one on Country radio if they ever released it as a single." They did and it made singer Dan Tyminski and everyone else involved a star including the man who wrote it, Ralph Stanley.

How two brothers from Minnesota could have such insight into Southern humour I'll never know but I embarrassed myself laughing in the theatre during "O Brother." When Delmar said, "Them sirens did this to Pete! They loved him up and turned him into a horny toad!" I about swallowed my tongue laughing. One of the very best films ever.

I liked O Brother, Where Art Thou? Considering it isn't a movie of the genre I usually watch, Seen it a couple times.

Just saw the new pirates film this weekend, I liked it about as much as the others

I finally got around to watching 127 Hours last night:

    127 Hours (2010) - IMDb

I, like most people that ever watch the news, already knew how it ended but I was a little disappointed with this movie by about mid-way through it, but by the end of it I had decided it was likable enough.

    Worth at least a rental.

It's not even out yet, but how can this not be the best movie of all time?
"I used to be with it, then they changed what it was.
Now what was it isn't it, and what is it is weird and scary to me.
    It'll happen to you too."

We saw the trailer when we saw Thor. Looks very cool to me. The title would make anyone want to see it and Daniel Craig should be splendid as he always is. This one, I will not miss. You might be right, elija!

Every Memorial Day I watch the movie " Conspiracy " again! It stars Kenneth Branagh and Stanley Tucci about the Wannee conference during WW II.

Just saw a trailer for Cowboys & Aliens and must admit that it looks far better than what I was expecting, so now I'm looking forward to it!

I watched The Company Men the other night and found it to be far more entertaining than I'd expected it to be, and it was loaded with top notch actors:

The Company Men (2010) - IMDb

It was perhaps a little slow for some movie watchers, and there weren't any special effects, shoot outs, car crashes, or much in the way of sex scenes, but it seemed very real and was a good example of what could happen to any of us in a slumping economy. Overall, I liked it!
