We watched the original first, as I hadn't seen it in a while, and she had never watched it.
We also watched Insidious and Let Me In...
Like Mike said earlier, Let Me In was quite different.

And Insidious was creepy more than scary. Definitely worth watching if you liked Paranormal Activity.

    I'd give it a 5 out 10
Thanks, MikeTbob... I watched it last night and it was indeed different. Not great, but not bad, either. Probably worth a rental or borrowing from a friend. I streamed it using Netflix.

For me, it was about a 5 or 6 out of 10 score.

Edit: Just wanted to add that the young girl and young boy (the main characters) played their parts superbly. I remember seeing the young boy in The Road with Viggo Mortensen but don't recall seeing the girl before. Both should get plenty of parts in future movies with acting skills like they have.

I just saw a really great animated feature, "Rango", starring Johnny Depp (as Rango's voice) that my wife bought in the remainder DVD bin at Target yesterday. She saw it on a plane flight to Switzerland a few weeks ago and decided that she liked it enough to buy the DVD. Envision a lizzard as a wild-west hero... I'd rate it an 8 of 10.

I read an article recently that mentioned an Al Pacino movie called S1mOne that was out about ten years ago!
Does anyone here remember what the movie was about? Thanks!!

Is it this one? I hadn't heard of it and it sounds like it may be quite good.

I saw it long ago and it wasn't all that great.

Oops... missed your post. I'm pretty sure that's the one he's talking about. It was okay, but nothing great.

The last movies that I saw was Insidious (which I found it great movie) and Green Street Hooligans (also a very good movie). I definitely recommend them to all.

Just watched Unknown and found it to be better than expected:

Probably worth at least a rental or borrowing from a friend.

Finally got around to watching Source Code today:

    Source Code (2011) - IMDb

Some of the scenes were a bit overly repetitious, but it was otherwise okay, so I'll give it about a 6.5 out of 10 score.
