    Question Open Source in Governments

    Hi,

I am currently doing a research on open source in Governments in India, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia and China.

It would be great if the group could provide links/information about the open source initiatives in these countries by their governments. I am not sure about the initiative and hence requesting the open source experts on this so that I do not miss out on any initiatives.

Please let me know if you need any further information.

I am sorry if this is any ways in against the group policy or if I am offending anyone.

    Thanks,

    Ganesh Bhat.

    Is this a homework assignment?

Either way, the most correct info can be found at a government's website (and will also give your research higher credibility), I suggest you start there...

This is not a home assignment it is a research work being carried out over a period of 3 months.

Hello and welcome to the forums!

Do a quick Google search for governments using open source software and you should get more than enough hits/links to complete your research. Best of luck to you with your project.
