I'm about to set up my desktop for media streaming around my house. I'm looking at MediaTomb as the server, running on Arch Linux. My phone has Skifta on it; our Xbox 360 should support DLNA. My network is primarily throttled at 802.11g speeds, but I don't think many of my videos are above 720p, if that.
