This poor guy has only one Lappi right now, a Lenovo G430, 3GB RAM, Intel C2D T6400-2Ghz, 2MB cache happily running Mint 9 with triple boot Windows 7 (a price to pay for having a windoz-head gf) and Salix 13.1

I, myself, have two--one desktop and one laptop. Both for different uses and are used pretty equally, so don't even think it's wrong/no point in owning 2 computers!

I have 3 at the moment. And to think that less than 2 years ago I had none.
My Desktop is an eMachine ET1161-07; 2.1 Ghz dual core CPU, 3 Gbs RAM running Vista. Which will soon be dual booting with Ubuntu 10.4.
A Sony Vaio PCG-FXA63 laptop; 1.4 Ghz Pentium 4 CPU, 512 Mbs RAM running Xubuntu 10.10. It was dumping XP and installing Linux that made me appreciate Linux. What a difference in prefomance! It was that project that gave me a whole new hobby. Rescuing elderly computers and making them purr again. The latest venture is a:
Compaq Presario 1255; 300 or so Mhz CPU, 90 Mbs RAM with Damn Small Linux. It is this latest effort that sent me here.

Counting my wife - at least 10 if you include our smart phones, but not including our Palm Pilots. Ok including those and my backup smart phone (Nexus One), 13...

Let's see.
1 Sony Vaio
1 Toshiba Netbook
2 Apple Mac Pro's
1 Dell Laptop (used to have 2, but gave one to the grandson)
1 Custom Intel workstation
1 old Dell workstation (still works - runs Gentoo Linux)
1 old Gateway workstation (still works - runs realtime QNX)
1 Apple iPhone 3gs
2 Google Nexus Ones
2 Palm Pilot TX's
If you add up the bits and pieces and spare parts - maybe a couple more?
Of course this doesn't count the Linux-powered routers (2) and the Linux-powered network storage arrays (2).
Now, someone should do a poll about how much disc space (the final frontier) we have!Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
Just remember, Semper Gumbi - always be flexible!
