sorry im just answering, but i think its like a fruit that if you add sugar to it it gives off a sweet tangy flavor and its quite good, it kinda looks like red colored apple pie

Rubar is a low growing plant, the stems to the leaves are red in color, the leaves are large green and only one to a stem. The stems are about 12" to 18" long, about 1 to 1.5" wide at the stock, .5 to 1" at the leaf. The stems when eatten raw, are very tart. But in as a pie, oooooh so good.
