    Can pictures be put up on youtube?

    Well I learned today that I had to use google mail to open a youtube account;
    but I did not find anyplace to upload pictures. Is there a way to upload pictures onto youtube? Thanks!

    Not totally certain, but I think youtube only takes videos and slide shows. Try checking here to see if it gives you any helpful info about the subject:

    If you want to view videos in Ubuntu Cuz. Then watch them in your video player. You download the video to your hardrive. Convert the video to mp3. Then watch in VLC movie player. Up to you though as always.

    Convert .flv (Google Videos) to .mpg using ffmpeg|Ubuntu Geek

    If you have VLC installed. Just open file in VLC and watch.
