Intermediate; I can usually fix problems when sitting in front of the PC having them, even if it needs much Googling, muttering and swearing but I find remotely diagnosing problems on forums much, much harder.

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

I'm a new bee.......

Around town, some of my fellow Linux users consider me a "master." Compared to reed9, Rubberman, devils casper, Cabhan and many other skilled members here, I'm relatively a numbskull so I chose "intermediate."

I will claim "expert" at least as a user. I can install
different distros, dual boot, and usually troubleshoot
the problems I encounter.
I run a dns server on my household LAN, and even once
set up sendmail. I can make samba meet the networking
needs of half a dozen machines in my house.
I don't think I could be a professional admin, because I am
weak on multi-user and security issues. I couldn't set up
a data base or any of the sort of things used by a business.Last edited by rcgreen; 04-06-2011 at 08:05 PM.
