    Hi from down under!

Hi everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself and say g'day!

Like lots of folk I've been working with PCs and OS X for a long time (particularly OS X and OS X Server), but i am currently attempting to build my first mail server for my small business, and thought I would experiment with attempting to setup a dovecot-based thing based on Ubuntu Server.

I like to think of myself as somewhere between 'absolute beginner' and 'beginner'.... I've been using Ubuntu Desktop for some time and am very happy with it (I see lots of similarities to OS X). That said, I'm very new to the server CLI environment, and finding it challenging to say the least! (Although i did manage to teach myself nano yesterday, which i figure is probably an important start).

Good to meet you, and now I'm off to wrestle crocodiles and ride kangaroos =)

I can be found either 40 miles west of Chicago, or in a galaxy far, far away.

Indeed. Myself, tomorrow I'm just off to wrestle with Chicago downtown traffic! Alligators sound much more fun! But, at the end of my drive into town, at least I get to jam with David "The Dawg" Grisman on my mandolin (he of "Old and In the Way" fame)! I think that's almost as good as riding a 'roo...

Two things you don't get to hear very often in an everyday American day...
I get to jam and mandolin.
Seriously, one of these days I need to take a road trip up to your neighborhood!

    BTW... Welcome Aboard, Mr_Scotty!
I hope you like it here, cuz we're "Givin' her all she's got!!!"
