Heh! Mint was #1 and Debian #2.
Currently on LMDE so I'd say that was pretty damn accurateIf we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate! (Zapp Brannigan)
My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

I'm with ya on that test, guys!
I've gone through it a couple of times over the last few years, and it always gives me a good result. I ran through again just now, and it gave me Mint, Fedora ,Slack and Gentoo.
I've used all but Gentoo, but I figure I can switch that out for my CRUX experiences, so it's fair!

Rajat,
You call yourself a Linux n00b but I could see somewhere in a post mentioned by you that you are already a RHCE and have an experience on Linux.
So If you are asking for a desktop OS for making your computing life easier, my 2 cents would go for Linux Mint (Ubuntu based or Debian Edition, whatever you feel good after reading about them) and install any RedHat based distro- Fedora/SL/CentOS as a VM over it to keep up your further studies over it.
Good luck.

Go to distrowatch.com and search for beginner distro's. You will see a number of choices which you can download and burn an ISO disk. Use the disk as a live cd to try the different distro's and see which one you like best. Hint: use cd-rw so you can reuse the ones you decide you don't like. When you dicide which one you like best install it to your computer.
