Hardware easter eggs
Most of us know about "easter eggs" in software - amusing displays which developers build into programs for fun and which show up if you perform some unlikely series of manoeuvres. But did you know that the chips inside your computer also contain easter eggs?
Apparently, when there is spare space on a chip, the design engineers sometimes fill it with a bit of miniaturised graphical art. You can see some examples here.
