    Question Yahoo Password

    hi friends,

I am getting it all straight.

I had a yahoo email ID way back. Now I want to login into it but my password don't seem to work.
Password reset requires alternate mail ID which too i don't remember what it was at that time.

Can I somehow login to my account ? anyhow !!

any help appreciated. . . thanks

    No you cant.
It would be very bad, if one could login to yahoo accounts without verification.

Probably your only chance is to contact yahoo and somehow find a way to prove, that you are the legitimate user of that mail account.

    Essentially the same story.
If there is a way do disable/delete the mailaccount, then only
    a) yahoo
    b) the legitimate account owner
    can do it.

Or this scenario would be possible:
    - user A has an account
    - user B doesnt like user A
    - user B tries to disable user As account
    - Now, if there was no verification, he might succeed.

    So verification is essential.
There is the standard way (login),
    then a fallback (password recovery).
    These are automated.

If both are not sufficient, manual interaction is needed aka: contact yahoo.
