    Hello everyone,
I'm doing my first experience with Linux and I've chosen Fedora15. In truth I also tried Ubuntu some time ago, but it can't be called an experience since I had a lot of trouble and gave up soon.
Ubuntu looks to me more a "toy" as I've installed Fedora, it has recognized everything on my system on the contrary of Ubuntu.

Well, I already have some questions to ask, so I move to the appropriate section!

    Be patient with me!

Hello friend, welcome to the club!

Sometimes it takes a little experimenting to find the distribution that fits you and your system the best. My advice is to try 'em all!

Have fun, and I hope to see you around.

    Welcome!

What worked for me was the "collect and select" principle. Try 'em all, I also suggest. It's free anyway

Welcome. Glad you kept trying until you found what was right for you. I tried Ubuntu, then about 30 others, and wound up staying with Ubuntu. The beauty of linux is you can have it your way, not Bill Gates way.
