    Wink Raspberry pie, anyone?

Today I saw something really cool on the BBC morning news. The Raspberry Pi is a basic computer that sells for $25, and no, that isn't a typo.

It's an exposed mobile-sized motherboard with an arm processor and 128 MB of memory. There's a usb socket at one end for mouse and keyboard (I presume you use a hub to connect them both) and a video output at the other. The one I saw had an ide cable coming out of the side but the one described here uses an SD card. And it runs Linux.

The idea apparently is to make computers fun again and encourage kids to develop the hacker/hobbyist mentality that created Linux in the first place. Hallelujah!

I'm not always the best person to judge but that looks even cooler than the Arduino! And it's by the co-creator of the best game ever. Elite!

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

At that price, I'd get one just to tinker with.

    That's amazing!
I think I'll get one for myself... just because!
