Personal Choices
Guys!
I fully respect those who do not drink alcoholic beverages as well as those who enjoy drinking themselves to......uuhhhh.....the other dimension of life, so to speak.
Having said that, I personally go for wines and beers.. Anything that has been naturally fermented. I would rather keep a safe distance away from those that have been distilled. since I personally find it strong. I did drink those when I was much younger though.
If you would be having a drink, what would be your preference please?

Drinking is a past-time for me.
My favorite beer is Guinness Extra Stout, followed by Young's Double Chocolate Stout. I love beer.
I don't much care for wine.
My favorite liquor is rum. Me and the wife prefer Captain Morgan Spiced Dark Rum. We have had Appleton's in Jamaica, but we still prefer the Puerto Rico rum.
Another drink we had in Jamaica is a "Bob Marley Shot". Look it up, it was very nice.

I seldom drink alcohol, but if I'm on a ramble and stop at a pub for lunch, I like a half-pint of draught cider. I don't like the fizzy stuff you get in bottles because it goes up my nose, but draught cider is almost still and has a good flavour. It makes me sleepy though!

I don't drink very often....I have 6 month old Shiner beer in the fridge, but I have been known to drink a few here and there. I have tried a lot of different beer. I like "Mamba" beer, from the Ivory Coast but it's not easy to find. I think they stopped making it after a rebel force or something overran the place. You only needed one bottle of "Mamba" because it was a large bottle.
I usually prefer a Rum & Coke now.I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.

Good old fashioned root beer is about as exotic as I go with drinks:

My last bottle of beer was a bottle of Harp beer that I slowly sipped on March 9, 1990. I have abstained from alcohol since then. When I drank liquor I shied away from scotch ( especially Dewar's ) because it was the only liquor that made me short tempered. I am fortunate that I never ran anyone over when I was clearly unfit to drive anything. If you Have to drink every day then be careful - you could be an alcoholic!!

I'm partial to Irish Whiskey, a good single-malt Scotch, Tequila, and Mescal. My family in Oaxaca Mexico has had a mescal still in the family for 4 generations now... hic!
My only problem with that is it is 2500 miles from where I live - a bit far to go for a drink!
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

Single Malt Scotch (tastes like spring water to me, Vodka<cuz I was raised on it, Wild Turkey if I have my hackles up, and Red Stripe Beer because I don't get that gob of phlem in the back of my throat on a 111F day like today. Beer needs to be crisp and clear in the desert heat.
I drink my hard liquor straight and chase with beer. Just like John Lee Hooker/George Thorogood. I drink lot's of water also while I am drinking alcohol to minimize dehydration issues also out here.
