I am wondering if there are any particular sites that members use to find Linux Developer jobs?

What are your thoughts on using general job boards i.e. monster, jobsite etc?

Do you find that jobs come up through networking with other developers in the community more so?

At BillBoards mostly. Since I spend most of my time riding motorcycles.

Jobsite is pretty good. Anyway recruiters will often browse these sites looking for CVs

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

Do you mean developing on the Linux Kernel? Developing software that runs on Linux machines? Developing web site that is hosted on Linux servers? Ditto for database stuff. Developing code that is in a device build using Linux? An appliance that is build using Linux as the OS and many kinds of code development?

Around my location there are quite a few Linux software development but finding them is a little harder as I get lots of hits because of "Linux" which turn out to be a system administrator positions. Where I currently work, we sell an appliance this has a Linux OS installed and then we install several other packages such as db server, web server, message queuing, etc. Then we add our software written in C, C++, Java, Python, Javascript, etc.

I know other places are using Linux to build embedded systems and other places are developing web sites using Linux in development and hosting.

I also know of places that are scraping information from specific sites and keeping database containing the scrapped data up to date.
