A pat on the back to forum members.
I have recently joined a couple of other forums and asked several questions. While I received a warm welcome, answers were not forthcoming, and a couple of answers I did get were very vague. Linux forum, pat yourself on the back, here I have always received fairly prompt responses and lots of help. The quality of answers has always been very good also. Keep it up, you are my favorite forum.

Hang on a minute. You've got nearly 500 posts... you don't get nearly 500 posts here from asking questions. I think you deserve a slice of the credit yourself.Linux user #126863 - see http://linuxcounter.net/

It's the membership that makes LinuxForums.org what it is, so thanks to you all, and especially to those that contribute regularly!

Ditto.
I joined a few forums before settling here.
And, like MASON, got incomplete answers to my questions.
Not the same friendliness that I find here every time I login

1. I consider the like button a pat on the back for a good post. I also like it for just showing my appreciation also.
2. Yeah, I like the like button. Keeps me from saying attaboy in another post and clogging up theads also.Linux Registered User # 475019

This is one of the friendliest Linux forums I've ever used. It also happens to be one of the most knowledgeable and there is a distinct lack of ego.

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.
