Different people like different things, so everyone should use whatever they like best. I see no reason that we should all think the same about computer operating systems, or why anyone would need to justify why they might think differently. We are all lucky to have so many options available to us, so let's take advantage of them and encourage each person use whatever works best for him, or her.

Elija; Thanks for making some grand assumptions for me. Re read my first post please. When Jay asked if this was to rant or to convey information, i simply stated that it was to convey information adn i said i was sorry. Also, who cares if i repeated my self about the movie and photo editing, dont YOU repeat yourself at times? This thread was simply to state what the average PC user has said that i interviewd.

I was trying to get a PROFESSIONAL reply from what i thought was a professional forum and group of people, but i guess i missed that part. I was hoping for some good in depth answers to what my interviewers had questions about.

Am i a linux user? yes, i happen to be. Am i a PRO, no, thats why i came here.... to get some answers for others that have tried linux because they wanted it as their desktop.

Sorry if i repeated myself on a question, i WONT do it again. GOD forbid... Thanks for the sarcastic reply Elija and a joyfull expeirence here. Am i paid to spread "FUD"? no, BUT i will not recomend this forum to others. Ill send them to ubuntu forums and the IRC channels before here.

Im sorry if my first post struke some nerves but i was just relaying information like i stated at least 3 times in the post.

Thank you MASONTX and OZAR for actually supplying me with some worth while info. Liek i stated at the bottom of my first post, this was what others had to say... oh wait, im repeating my self again... Im serious MAS and OZAR, thank you for actually replying with some decent answer. Now at least i can supply the users info they need rather than a smart ass response.

Guys, I'm going to lock this discussion because it appears to be creating nothing but friction and going into a downward spiral. If anyone needs help with a specific issue under Linux, please feel free to start a new thread. Thank you.
