Way newb.
Hey gang. I'm very new to Linux, but I love it so far. I've been running Lynx from the disc, and I tinkered with Bodhi. I'm pretty much an idiot about CLI's, but I know I hate Windows. I'd like to install Lynx on a partition I've already created, but it seems to want to install itself creating a new partition. I'm scared to pull the trigger. Do I need to/ should I create a swap, root, or home partition first? I know this is 101, but I'm itching to get started.

Hi, nux!
I replied to your thread in the Installation section.
I posted a link to a page that will take you through the installation.
While you could create your partitions ahead of time, there's really no need to do so.
The Ubuntu installer will let you create new partitions, and still keep your Windows installation intact.Jay
