Thumbs up I am a microgenerator

That's what they call it when you sell electricity to the grid. Some of you will know that I installed solar panels back in July but it's taken over two months for the beaurocrats at my power company to get me registered.
Today however, they sent me my contract to sign. When I actually get some money is a different question altogether.

    Congratulations!

How many square-m solar-panel do you have?
How much money will they pay you in the UK?

In our nation, it's like you need some connections to get something of the solar-panel pot ... but if you know someone, you get about 18ct/kWh

I don't know the size but there are eight panels in two rows, which is just about the height of my pitched roof.
In the UK, you get a feed-in tariff of 43p per kWh.

Nice to hear that you can now stick it to the man. I hope it really pays off for you - but what we really need here in England isn't solar panels, but something that can power our servers using the wind, rain and cold.
