    Linux Utility LiveCD/USB Favorites

I've used plenty of different Linux utility liveCD/USB devices over the years but have grown extremely fond of the Parted Magic LiveCD, and consider it my favorite of all those currently available. It has all the right tools for the various tasks that I perform frequently, and it handles those jobs quite well, so I recommend it highly.

Which utility-oriented Linux liveCD or liveUSB device would you recommend to others?

For me, it's a toss up between Parted Magic and GParted. Though I have to lean a little closer to Parted Magic.

None other than PartedMagic LiveCD. It has almost everything, all tools that a Linux user needs. Using and recommending it to others for a long time.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    I just looked, and I've got 2 CD's that I commonly use.
One in Parted Magic. The other is a Ubuntu disc.
I also carry a LMDE live usb key in case I get the chance to show it off
    Same reason

I keep a 4gig drive of Puppeee for the EEEPCs like you guys do with a parted magic usb for eeepc repair purposes.

I keep a 2 gig AntiX 11 Persistent because it boots on anyones gear. Has Persistence. Has the antix2usb.py in control center to make another persistent AntiX usb again if so wished.

For users that aren't familiar with utility disks like those mentioned above, here are just a few of the other available options:

    Finnix
    RIPLinux
    SystemRescueCD
    Trinity Rescue Kit
    Ubuntu Rescue Remix

To be fair, I've tried all of them except for Ubuntu Rescue Remix, but have not really given any of them what I'd consider to be a thorough trial.
