    I use Yahoo to keep in touch with the current news and Google to conduct searches.

    I use google because as a search engine it does it well.
    I worry, though, that despite turning off javascript and cookies it still shows ads for my local area when I first open it.
    I'm currently trying out ddg.

    Still 'teh Google'. It works. I'm trying out DuckDuckGo, but I suspect I'll end up back with Google. It's quicker, more complete, and I'm used to it.
