    I'm pretty sure he meant that it's his first install of a "rolling-release distro" as opposed to a regular non rolling release distro.

    I just had the courage to install lmde my self. I must say I like what I see.

    Compiz doesn't work by default, but there's a fix there, and the scroll button of my trackpoint doesn't work, but that was to be expected (and there is a fix).

    The funny thing is, the trackpoint works better in Linux than it does on Windows.
