    Smile Hi everyone I am wondering which is the best Distro For Graphic design

    Hi Everyone i am in college using adobe photoshop, Dreaweaver, Flash Profestional and toonboom studio. i Prefur Linux to windows i am wondering which is the best distro for Graphic Design and what open source software i could use that are simular to the ones i mentioned?

    Welcome to LinuxForums!

    To find alternative software, take a look here: The Linux Alternative Project
    You should be able to find some fairly good options there.
    Or you might have a little luck getting your programs to run under Wine.

    As far as which distro is 'best' for graphical design work, have you looked at Dream Studio?

    Thank you for replying

    I have tried to get it to run in wine but each time it starts the installer after a few seconds it just stops nothing else happens.

    I will take a look now thank you
