Hi Dan!
I know we have been getting a few more than usual requests for help with CRUX but that's about it. I was also wondering about the way it seems to spike up and down. It got to top 25 or something like that awhile back, about the time the latest version was released, it seems.I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.

It just occurred to me that one of those questions was about running CRUX as a MineCraft server. I remember seeing a page a while back where this guy was saying CRUX is the perfect distro for it and that it is. Maybe that explains the sudden interest.

Hey, guys!
I've not heard anything about a new release.
But the number of posts regarding CRUX really makes me miss it right now!

That looks like a great solution for a lot of folks.
And even taking just a cursory look at the documentation, I think plenty of the users looking for a server will be quite pleased with this.Jay

Jay, it also looks like a good solution for a minimal LAMP server for just about anything. My kids love MineCraft. Another Linux friend who lives in another town setup a MineCraft server and my kids play with his kids on the server. I freely admit that I really enjoy playing MineCraft too! It's one of the few games I've seen that appeals to both kids and adults.
