server tweaking
i have a server that my friend owns and he baiscly gives me assignments and i login via ssh and administrate well my next assignment he is going to tweak the server a little bit and i have to fix it. Its running centOS 5.7 i think and it has almost nothing on it just your basic lamp with vsftpd anywho i was wondering what can i expect to find to get prepared lol he wont do anything to drastic i am a noob lol

Duh... Almost anything? Time to do some research/reading for you, I think...i was wondering what can i expect to find

No such thing as a "dumb question". You might want to spend some time with the CentOS/RHEL 5.x documentation that you can find online to get up to speed on this cruft.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

yeah i have the centOS bible i have been studying up on it to and i have the RHEL documentation on my desktop
