    I don't know how much the author of that article makes, but $199 gadgets like the kindle, are not in the cheap category in my book.

    I am tempted by a Kindle, but about 85% of the books I check are unavailable for it.

    The only gadget there that I find even remotely appealing is the Samsung phone - and I've already got an Android phone, so even that doesn't appeal. Perhaps I've already got too many gadgets...

    I looked at that list, and I have to say that they all look impressive for what they are.
    But not even one of them makes my 'wish-list'.

    Not because of the price, though... I guess I'm one of the few that just doesn't have a need for a single one of them

    Marketing constantly tells people they must have these kinds of gadgets - I tend to think for myself and that results in me saving my money...
