    New member as of today

    Dear Forum,

    I am very pleased to be part of the Forum land. I am a fairly new and happy Ubuntu Linux 11.10 user and a completely fed up user of Wndows 7 (and all other former variations).

    I am nearly 80 years old, married, 3 children and 7 grandchildren. I love to find out more and more of Ubuntu and sit every day at least an hour to discover new uses of this wonderful operating system.

    Obviously, you all agree with me since you are part of this Forum.

    We're a friendly group, so I hope you enjoy your time here as much as you're enjoying Ubuntu.
    And, yes, we all pretty much love the different aspects of Linux as compared to other systems.
