Agreed... Rox is a great and it's my file manager of choice when running any standalone window manager. It does take a little time to get used to it, but well worth the effort.

    Ubuntu On the way out.

Long in the tooth since 8.04LTS to 10.04LTS. Will probably ditch Ubuntu when End of Life kicks in for 10.04 in april 2013.

I have a 1 TB external drive to back up stuff when I decide which distro to use next on this box. Been a solid
Desktop runner for a while. It's a custom shuttlebox home made computer. Lot's of bells and whistles on this install. Kinda overkill.

Instead of putting a rugby photograph on my desktop, I decided to go back to work with GIMP and made a penguin- themed backdrop.

I'm keeping my photo of Mount Orizaba in Mexico as my desktop. It is to remind me of the land I own there (with a similar view of Orizaba) where I hope someday to build a retirement home! Also, my sister lives next door...

My desktop hasn't really changed since I last posted in 2011, and so I won't bother posting an update to that. I guess I'm somewhat a creature of habit.

Okay, a LINUX desktop this time: It's Xubu 10.04 all customized with a "docky-looking" Xfce panel on the bottom. Whatever is minimized goes to a small 2nd panel on top which is invisible until I mouse over it.
