    The Intel one proves my theory of Engineers. They are all mad; which is a good thing because when* I win the Euro-Millions lottery, I'm finding one mad enough to build me one of these. Programmable of course

    * Yeah right. When!

    LOL... the instrument used in "Resonant Chamber" is quite interesting, while coming off as a little creepy, too. Those manipulators look a bit like insect or crab legs. Either way, the work being put out by AniMusic is truly amazing and their developers have great imagination.

    Anyway, who says engineers can't have fun! Just think, these guys got paid for 90 days work to design and build this thing (the Intel+ implementation of Pipe Dreams), just to show off their industrial control systems in a novel way. I just wish they could have made the ball launchers a bit quieter! A very good demonstration, however - I spent 20+ years building industrial control systems software, and I am suitably impressed!

    My all-time favorite tune by Dolly also includes my favorite fiddler, Mark O'Connor. In fact, Mark uploaded the video with himself and Dolly in it to YouTube himself:

    While I liked it, the first one was a little slow for my tastes.
    But that second one is great! That's one of those rare tunes that almost makes you do some toe-tapping with the rhythm!

    LOL... I thought that might happen, so included the faster paced song just in case. I listen to a lot of Irish music and when I first heard the Afro Celt Sound System, I was fascinated by their mix of African and Celtic sounds.

    Liking a wide range of sounds and music, here's another one that I've been listening to a lot lately, this one by The Rankin Family:

    The Rankin Family - YouTube

    Raylene Rankin has a good solid voice, but I like the words and tune to the song as well.
