Yeah, I've seen Bonamassa on my local PBS a couple of times and he's great! I think Stevie Ray used to put a little more of his heart and soul into his music, but I believe Bonamassa might still be ripening.

I saw Hendrix last in 1970 at the Red Rocks amphitheater outside of Denver, not long before he died. I took an old college girl friend, Pavonne (she of the flaming red hair) to see Hendrix, Vanilla Fudge, and Soft Machine. A most excellent show! Of course Hendrix did Voodoo Child, All Along the Watchtower, and many other favorites as well as new stuff (for the time).
