    I saw Hendrix last in 1970 at the Red Rocks amphitheater outside of Denver, not long before he died. I took an old college girl friend, Pavonne (she of the flaming red hair) to see Hendrix, Vanilla Fudge, and Soft Machine. A most excellent show! Of course Hendrix did Voodoo Child, All Along the Watchtower, and many other favorites as well as new stuff (for the time). I don't remember which song it was, but at one point he was picking the guitar with his teeth!

    Anyway Roky, thanks for posting these. Kidjo's rendition was original, and hot! Vaughn's was a very nice homage to JH - very well done.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
