Hello then everyone. I have been on the forums (and not just this one) for around an eternity. I got a linux box 7months ago...
It is hard to post a question on here or even reply to one when there are so many solutions out there on the web.
One reason i do not ask questions, I just look for them answers. So hopefully i will be able to answer some questions even tho there are a lot of people more accustomed to using linux

The un-lurking process...
Lurkers? Is that what you call us Googlers that ask a question and get sent here?
So yesterday I came out of the fog and now you see me. I know enough about Linux to use it and not enough to stay out of trouble.
My passion is conky, coffee and mate (the drink). <-- Google that and check it out at wikipedia - only 14 more posts to go.
It's time to get involved.
Can I build a hanger here?

Welcome to the forums.
So you know just enough Linux to be dangerous to yourself? I like that.
We have a nice conky thread but it might be a bit dated.

Hey Mike ... Yea, that's another way to look at it. A danger to myself my wife hates it when I bork "our" system. I do have a nice little backup script that has saved my bacon a few times though.
Oooooooooooo a conky thread ... yea a tad out dated (2011) someone should rename the thread and leave it as a permanent thread.
Only two pages ...
I'll have to work on that.
I'll post my screenshot there later today, right now I have to go out for an hour or so.
Hmmmmmmmm if I post one post for each conky that will be 10 posts. Talk about a kick-start!
PS: Had to strip the link you gave me from you quoted message - I'm not allowed yet.

Until you reach the 15 post mile mark, just mangle the name a bit, like instead of https://www.google.com, try https(dot)//www(dot)google(dot)comPS: Had to strip the link you gave me from you quoted message - I'm not allowed yet.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
