Lightbulb New member intro, wanted to say hi (Slackware user)

After running into threads here every so often while troubleshooting, I decided I should go ahead and register. I'm a somewhat active member over at LinuxQuestions.org (I'm Cultist on that board), I'm a devoted Slacker, and I love computers.

I'm in the U.S. Army, formerly a paratrooper and a 13F (forward observer), but I've just recently reclassed into 25B (computer networking specialist) so that I can do what I really want to do with my career.

I've been a Linux user off and on for about 6 years but I've only been exclusively Linux (on my own computers anyway) for the last two years. Slackware is my very favorite distro and currently the only one I run, although in the past I've used Mandriva, Debian, and SL. I know my way around a computer better than the average person (average person outside of professional computer fields), but I'm not above asking for help when I need it - and I need it more than I like to admit

I'll go ahead and end this wall of text and let you get back to whatever you were doing lol

I hope to become an active and helpful member of this forum soon!
