Welcome to the forum. What experience do you have, and what distro are you using?

Mint is an excellent distro to start with. There is an active Mint forum if you have questions.

Welcome aboard. I've been a full-time Linux user since 2006. Started with Debian stable but am now using Kubuntu 11.10. Love to tinker with computers and make a few dollars every now and then fixing Windows machines for my neighbors.
My hobby is fixing up old machines I've scrounged, installing Linux on them and giving them away (mostly to senior citizens a but a few have gone to students). Over three dozen so far! I hope your Linux experience is as pleasurable as mine has been.
