I finished the Band of Brothers series on blu-ray over the weekend and it was well worth the 10 hours spent watching it. Anyone that liked Saving Private Ryan will most probably like Band of Brothers, as well.

It seems like network television is becoming less interesting all the time unless you enjoy corny sitcoms, reality TV, cop/legal shows, or constant commercials. While it's probably not going to happen anytime soon (or maybe ever), I wouldn't mind seeing a good western series show up on the airwaves. There were a few westerns showing up on cable/satellite TV for a while, but they premiered at a time when I didn't have the service so I've never checked them out.

My daughter is into this stuff. So I decided to see what the fuss was all about. I did not know pine cones could be so interesting (Fast foward to about 22:30 minutes into the video if not wanting to watch the whole thing).

Hatfields & McCoys (TV Series 2012) - IMDb

That was an awesome movie series. It played for 3 nights on History channel. I would give it a 9 of 10. It's actually a very sad story when you think about it.
